Hats off to Inter Milan and The Special One as they kept their composure to book a place in the UEFA Champions League finale.
After winning the first leg at Milan with a shocking 3-1 score line, Inter held on through the game even after they were down to ten men at the Nou Camp, and even though they lost the game by 1-0, courtesy of Gerard Pique’s calm finishing, they managed to win 3-2 on aggregate and paved their way to the final in Madrid next month.
Few leave victorious at the Nou Camp
Everyone was wondering if Barca could create the magic at home but sadly, the magician was marked as tight as a lady’s corset and Inter’s wall of defence was too hard for the Catalans to penetrate.
The results and the ticket to Bernabeu, Madrid: sheer hard work and determination.

The joy and excitement of heading to the finale, not forgetting Jose Mourinho’s final whistle ‘ran on the pitch’ celebration: simply priceless.
And the world awaits the clash between the German giants and the intoxicating Italians.
