Automated Restaurant in Nuremberg, Germany

Red alert to waiters worldwide!! You might lose your job to.... technology!

There's this restaurant in Nuremberg, Germany where services of waiters and waitresses are not needed, at all.

Customers of the automated restaurant can simply order their food by tapping on the touch-screen LCD provided at their seats. After browsing the menu and placing an order, they can either sit back, relax and get fascinated by the extraordinary roller-coaster-like rails that send the food from the kitchen to the customers; or send an e-mail or SMS message using the touch-screen LCD while waiting for their food to arrive.

Besides, you can even gain plenty of knowledge about the food as the information are all in the touch-screen LCD. Just tap and go. It's that easy.

Once they received your orders, the chefs in the kitchen will prepare your food from fresh. There, they'll then 'deliver' the food through the rails to you. Simple, efficient and cost-saving. What a creative idea.
